A whole new kind of rap

Whoops! I forgot to include this video I found the other day in my last post.

English teacher-by-day, rapper-by-night Random (also known as Mega Ran) is a hip-hop artist who managed to secure an exclusive licensing agreement with Capcom. He combines fantasy with legit hip hop beats and I gotta say, he creates some really compelling tracks.

I'm not a big fan of rap, but this guy appeals to my geeky side. The video below uses samples of "The Forested Temple" and "Aerith's Theme." His new Final Fantasy album comes out Jan. 31, 2011.
