I am The Girl Informer :D. Nice to make your acquaintance.

First things first. Yes, my blog title is a play on words. Hopefully Game Informer doesn't mind. Well, just in case, I am in no way affiliated with Game Informer. Just thought I might need to throw that out there!

Anyway... I am a student at the University of Florida who hopes to someday work in the field of entertainment public relations, specifically the video game industry. I started this blog to share my thoughts on topics ranging from the role of chocobos in the Final Fantasy series to ESRB ratings and their impact on recent gaming sales.

Don't get me wrong though - I am no expert. I love RPGs and have a little trouble getting out of the genre. I tend to get caught up in my favorite games (cough, FFX, cough). I am using this blog as a way to educate myself and expand my repertoire.

Alright, enough of the awkward introductions. Feel free to comment on my blog as you see fit - just remember to be courteous. I apologize in advance that I may be a bit of slacker when it comes to consistency in posts, but I will try my absolute hardest to keep up :D.
