On this blog, I seek to bring relevancy and depth to the gaming world by relating the industry to broader social issues. I am constantly inspired and interested by the ways in which interactive media influences the world around us. My goal is to explore this phenomenon and comment on the best, worst and most beautiful parts of the games we love.

While my intention for writing this blog may seem a bit complex, this isn't necessarily the case. In fact, I just want everyone to embrace their inner gamer. I firmly believe the best way to accomplish this is by taking the most compelling parts of video game culture and connecting them to issues that people sincerely care about.

My posts and interests run the gamut, but I tend to focus on video game fandom and inclusiveness in the industry. You'll even notice ties to my communications and public relations training, since I enjoy analyzing gaming in a professional context (it is a billion-
dollar industry, after all!)
